Nahida is one of the four nations from which players can receive the Archon's cards in Genshin Impact. Her Elemental Skill, The Seed of Skandha, can be used on either the opponent's active character or all opposing characters depending on the number of dice utilized. This skill enables them to take additional damage whenever an elemental reaction occurs that affects a character with the seed active on them. Furthermore, Nahida possesses a powerful burst attack that deals significant damage. All of these attributes combined make Nahida a versatile character that works well in teams that frequently utilize reactions.
Nahida Card & Skills
Despite being an Archon, acquiring Nahida's character card and talent card is just as simple as obtaining any other playable character cards. Unlike certain cards that can only be obtained after reaching a specific Duel level, such as Cyno, players can easily duel Nahida using a Match Invitation Letter and receive her card if they win. Furthermore, her talent cards can be obtained by completing the duel objectives.

Nahida's Talent Card: The Seed of Stored Knowledge
Nahida's Talent Card is centered around her Elemental Burst and reacts differently according to the elements of the characters in the team, just like in the actual Genshin Impact gameplay. While the card's usefulness is heavily dependent on the team composition, it can prove to be beneficial in most cases, especially when used in teams that utilize Electro. If an Electro character is present when this card is used, it will apply an additional usage of the Seed of Skandha, reducing the need for players to switch back to Nahida frequently to use 5 dice again.
Best Nahida Decks
Nahida's effectiveness shines through in teams that frequently trigger elemental reactions, regardless of the type of reaction. However, when it comes to Dendro reactions, her strength lies in having an Electro team member such as Yae Miko or Raiden Shogun, as the Quicken reaction can be highly advantageous. Alternatively, for bloom reactions, Kokomi can be an excellent addition to the team. Given her versatility, players are recommended to prioritize characters who can frequently apply elements and include characters of different elements in her team compositions to maximize the benefits of various elemental reactions and her talent card.
Nahida + Yae Miko + Kokomi
This team is composed of three catalyst characters who specialize in applying elemental effects. Both Yae Miko and Kokomi can also summon additional damage and elemental application. This creates a diverse range of elemental reactions, such as electro-charged, hyperbloom, and quicken, depending on the order in which the characters are used.
To maximize the potential damage and effectiveness of the team, it is suggested to start with Nahida and apply Seed of Skandha to all opponents before switching to Yae Miko or Kokomi. Because all three characters are catalyst users, players may want to equip the "A Thousand Floating Dreams" weapon card on any of them. Furthermore, having two Inazuma characters on the team allows players to utilize the Thunder and Eternity resonance card, which assists in dice management, particularly when trying to obtain at least five Dendro dice on hand, which can be difficult to obtain through sheer luck alone.
Nahida + Zhongli + Raiden Shogun
Combining Zhongli and Raiden Shogun with Nahida forms the most effective Archon team for players who are interested in doing so. The synergy between Nahida and Raiden Shogun is the reason for this recommendation. Starting with Raiden and quickly activating her burst is the recommended approach for this team composition. This enables the bursts of both Nahida and Zhongli, allowing the team to focus on high Burst DPS and potentially even one-shotting some enemies. Additionally, this approach enhances the personal damage of Raiden Shogun and Nahida with the Aggravate and Spread reactions. The team can also do piercing damage through reactions with Seed of Skandha, although it is not solely focused on elemental reactions like the other example team compositions in this guide.
Moreover, Zhongli provides a defensive playstyle as the team lacks healing capabilities, which can be challenging when facing quick burst team compositions. However, players can also choose to replace Zhongli with Venti or any other character they prefer, as Raiden Shogun and Nahida are the primary drivers of this team composition.
Nahida + Sucrose + Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage
If players are looking for a team composition that doesn't rely on Dendro reactions but still benefits from Nahida's Seed of Skandha, they can consider using Sucrose and a Cryo character such as the Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage. The advantage of using Nahida's Seed of Skandha is that it doesn't require Dendro reactions to activate, which can take time to set up in Genius Invokation TCG.
To use this composition, players can use Nahida's Elemental Skill and switch to Cicin Mage to easily apply Cryo. They can then switch to Sucrose to trigger swirl reactions throughout the battle. Sucrose's ability to spread previously applied elements to other opponents and force them to swap characters allows her to frequently trigger swirl reactions without the need to switch to other characters for elemental reactions.
This team composition is effective against decks that heavily rely on Hydro characters like Kokomi or Xingqiu, as they may end up freezing themselves when using their skills. It is also effective against decks that heavily rely on quick swap combos, as Sucrose's swirl reactions can disrupt their order. Although this composition may be slower compared to others, it can serve as an excellent anti-meta option.
Recommended Action Cards
When it comes to Nahida teams, the recommended action cards will vary based on the team's composition. However, players should prioritize adding Nahida's talent card and other character talent cards to their deck. This is especially important for teams that use characters of different elements to activate the Seed of Skandha, as they may not benefit from Elemental Resonance or region resonance cards like other characters' teams do.
The key to success with Nahida teams lies in effectively managing dice, making dice management cards like Liben, Varanara, Timmie, and The Bestest Travel Companion crucial additions to the deck. Players should also consider using HP-increasing cards to offset Nahida's lack of healing or defensive capabilities. For some decks, swapping between characters without consuming resources can also be advantageous, as it allows for frequent elemental damage.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
