How Rashid's Bugged Level 2 Super Art Can Do Almost Infinite Damage to Enemies

In Street Fighter 6, Rashid's whirlwind typically dissipates after hitting the enemy a few times. However, certain players have uncovered an exploit that allows Yassar to prolong its duration far beyond the developers' intentions, even if opponents successfully block it. To achieve this, execute the Arabian Cyclone special move to accelerate the whirlwind's speed and swiftly cancel it with either Rolling Assault or Wing Stroke. Once accomplished, Rashid simply needs to advance in front of the whirlwind to maintain its active state.

Using this exploit, Yassar can gradually deplete the opponents' Drive Gauge and eventually their health if they block until exhaustion. The only way for the whirlwind to disperse is for the enemy to either endure the hit or execute a Drive Reversal. Both alternatives are less than ideal, as enduring the hit results in a punishing combo from Rashid, while relying on a Drive Reversal is unreliable due to its dependency on meter usage. Furthermore, if the reversal does connect, it only inflicts minor damage and prompts a knockdown at best. Fortunately, Capcom has addressed this issue through a patch, eliminating any possibility of whirlwind tactics during significant competitions such as EVO.

How Rashid Could Shake Up the Street Fighter 6 Meta Coming Into EVO 2023

As per the updated regulations for Capcom Pro Tour (CPT) 2023, players are now permitted to utilize characters that have been released within seven days prior to an official CPT event. Consequently, Rashid will be considered tournament-legal for EVO 2023. There is a division of opinion within the competitive scene regarding this rule, with some players expressing concern that allowing a new character to be used in tournaments may disrupt the bracket stages.
