Atomic Heart by Mundfish is a captivating single-player action game filled with challenging missions, exciting activities, and an enthralling storyline. Amongst these quests is Not So Fast, Major, which requires players to repair the elevators and offers a thrilling adventure. To embark on this quest, players must first finish the "One More Hurdle" mission. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough on how to successfully complete the Not So Fast, Major quest in Atomic Heart.
How to Complete Not So Fast, Major in Atomic Heart
Players who embark on the Major quest, known as Not So Fast, will be transported to the Vavilov Genetics Complex. Upon entering the quest, players will find themselves in a room where they will be confronted with two non-functioning elevators and a gaping hole in the floor.
Locate the Circuit Breaker
Upon entering the room, players will notice a door on the right with an "Ecology" inscription and the number four drawn on the left. Passing through this door, turn left and utilize the scanner to locate the concealed wiring within the wall. Afterward, search for a red door secured by a piston lock.
Find the Key
To gain access to the utility room, locate the key by checking the label displayed on the screen indicating its whereabouts. Proceed to the floor above by climbing the stairs adjacent to the out-of-order elevator and enter the room labeled with the number 3.
Disable the Camera
Before proceeding with the mission, it's important to take care of the CCTV camera first. Locate its position and distract it by throwing an object at it. Once it's distracted, use the Shock ability to disable it or destroy it altogether. After dealing with the camera, players can enter the room where they'll find the key sitting on a desk. Pick up the key and return to the elevator control room to gain access using the newly acquired key.
Solve the Circle Puzzle
To solve the circle puzzle of the circuit breaker, the third step of the quest, players must use a color code to correctly position the 9 nodes. The top three nodes should be set to all Red, while the middle nodes should be arranged in a Red, Green, Green pattern. The bottom three nodes should be set to all Green. Once this puzzle is solved, power will be restored. Afterward, players should take the left elevator from the room with two elevators to avoid the risk of the collapsed floor that the right elevator leads to, even though both elevators ultimately lead to the lobby.
Shock the Magnets
Use caution when stepping out of the elevator and watch for the gap in the floor. Locate the waypoint and employ the jump dodge technique to reach the designated door. The door is secured by an electromagnetic lock, requiring players to utilize the Shock ability to disengage the magnets and gain entry. Successfully completing this task will mark the accomplishment of the Not So Fast, Major mission in Atomic Heart, which is currently accessible on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
