The Archon, the final Archetype revealed in Remnant 2, boosts the effectiveness of Weapon Mods with its array of passive effects. As an Archon, players can utilize their weapons' special attachments more frequently, while also providing important support to their allies.
Similar to other character types in Remnant 2, the Archon is highly skilled in combat. By equipping suitable weapons, Traits, and accessories, players can easily overcome the game's toughest obstacles as long as they understand the specific fighting style of Archons. This guide aims to clarify their approach.
Remnant 2 Archon Build
Staying true to the Archon's essence, this build emphasizes Mod Power while also considering Skills. Archons naturally possess superior Mod Power generation due to their traits, and this setup intends to enhance it further by incorporating Mutators and accessories.

The Challenger is a favorable secondary Archetype option as it enhances all damage as long as enemies are nearby. This enhancement also applies to Havoc Form, making it an ideal choice for players who prefer offense over the defensive capabilities provided by the Reality Rune. The latter is more advantageous in situations where players feel overwhelmed by incoming attacks, so feel free to switch strategies as necessary.
Regarding weapons, the Chicago Typewriter is an outstanding selection due to its rapid fire rate, respectable base critical hit chance, and ample ammo capacity. When combined with a fully upgraded Momentum Mutator, this weapon can deal significant damage with a single magazine, making it highly effective against bosses and hordes. Players have the freedom to choose any Hand Gun and Melee Weapon, although the aforementioned recommendations are well-suited for general gameplay.
This build greatly benefits from any of the ammo infusion mods (Hot Shot, Corrosive Shot, Overflow) since they all activate the Mod Power generation effect from the Stone of Malevolence. If players equip the Grounding Stone ring, they can enhance both the Archon's lightning theme and maximize their potential with Overflow and Havoc Form.
The Spirit Wisp Amulet decreases Skill cooldowns whenever players consume 300 Mod Power. By combining it with the Stone of Malevolence, players can effortlessly replenish the required Mod Power for their preferred ammo infusion mod. This creates a continuous cycle of reducing Skill cooldowns and generating Mod Power.
It is possible that the interaction between ammo mods and the Stone of Malevolence is unintended. If it is ever balanced, players should consider utilizing the Enigma to sustain the cycle.
The remaining information is easy to understand. Gain additional Skill cooldown reduction and enjoy improved quality of life through the Siphoner and Handling Traits. It is recommended that players always have their chosen ammo mod active when utilizing their Skills in situations that require them.
Remnant 2 is currently accessible on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
