The Sims 4: Exciting New Expansion on the Horizon

The Sims 4 fans can rejoice as a new expansion pack is on the horizon, rumored to include a highly requested feature from The Sims 3 Get ready to immerse yourself in even more possibilities and adventures in the virtual world of The Sims

Electronic Arts isn't quite ready to let go of The Sims 4 just yet, despite the anticipation surrounding Project Rene. Recently, two new kits were released without much warning, showing that Maxis is still committed to supporting the game. Although content updates may not be coming out as frequently as they used to, Maxis is still working on The Sims 4 alongside the development of The Sims 5. Their European studio, which opened in 2019, is collaborating with their Texas branch to ensure that The Sims 4 remains engaging and fresh for its dedicated fanbase. With 13 expansions and 12 game packs already released, the gameplay of The Sims 4 is already quite varied and well-developed. However, there has always been a noticeable gap in terms of pets and animals that many Sims fans have been waiting to see filled.

Online marketplaces, including CDKeys and Instant Gaming, have leaked information about the upcoming expansion for The Sims 4. This new content update, called Horse Ranch, will offer players the chance to create and care for their own horses, as well as interact with them in unique ways. While the leak does not confirm whether horses will be considered full household members like cats and dogs, it can be assumed that they will function similarly.

The Sims 4: Exciting New Expansion on the Horizon

Electronic Arts has been teasing Sims fans with the possibility of a horse-related content pack for The Sims 4 in recent months. The upcoming Horse Ranch expansion promises to bring a new map, as well as a plethora of new clothes, accessories, and furniture. However, at a price point of $39.99, many fans have criticized the high cost of The Sims 4 DLCs. In light of this, fans are hoping that a more consumer-friendly approach will be taken for Project Rene. Some have suggested that a Battle Pass system, akin to that used in Genshin Impact, could help to make The Sims 5 more accessible to new players while providing a steady stream of content for the game's loyal fanbase.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
