Rachel Bilson recently opened up about her sex life, stating that she has never faked an orgasm just to make her partner feel good about themselves. During an episode of her "Broad Ideas" podcast, Bilson questioned whether or not she was being selfish for not giving her partners that experience.
The actress from The O.C. admitted that being honest about her sexual desires is difficult for her because she has always been more focused on pleasing her partner. She emphasized, however, that she has never pretended to have an orgasm. It wasn't until she became more familiar with her own body that she experienced her first orgasm at the age of 20 with a partner. After that, it became easier for her to achieve orgasm.

"It was mostly focused on my body and finding comfort, experimenting with different positions and learning more about myself. I found it really fascinating because it has helped me understand how to work with different partners and discover more about my own body."
The actress from Jumper caused a stir in March after revealing in an interview with Whitney Cummings on "Broad Ideas" that she didn't experience her first orgasm from sex until the age of 38. This statement caught many people's attention, and she expressed surprise at the time. However, during a later appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast with Nick Viall, Bilson clarified that her comments were taken out of context and explained that it was more about her understanding of her own body than any particular partner.
Bilson clarified that the discussion was not meant to be about her past partners, such as Adam Brody, Hayden Christensen, and Bill Hader, but rather about her personal experience with orgasm, which she did not experience through penetration until her late 30s, though she had felt the sensation through self-exploration and partner touching earlier on.
The Last Kiss actress confirmed that she was not shaming any of her exes, as pointed out by the Bachelor alum. She added a humorous comment, stating that she was not giving a trophy to any of them, as the situation involved no one but herself. Over the course of her career, the Waiting for Forever star had been in several high-profile relationships, including one with her O.C. costar Brody from 2003 to 2006. Later, she began a relationship with Christensen, with whom she shares an 8-year-old daughter named Briar Rose. The pair, who were engaged from 2008 to 2010, dated on and off for almost 10 years before calling it quits in 2017.
Bilson most recently dated Hader, 45. We confirmed in June 2020 that the twosome split after less than one year together.
