The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered Reveals Intense No Return Mode with Roguelike Mechanics

Experience thrilling gameplay in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered's new mode, No Return Immerse yourself in a world of multiple characters and unpredictable weapon upgrades, offering endless excitement and challenges (224 characters)

Naughty Dog announced The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered last month, revealing a new roguelike survival mode called No Return. A recent trailer released by the game developer provides a glimpse of what players can anticipate when facing off against the Infected, Clickers, and other dangers in this innovative gameplay experience.

No Return offers players the option to select from a variety of familiar characters from TLOU2, including Dina, Jesse, Lev, and Manny, all of whom are featured on the character-select screen. Additionally, the character menu showcases other well-known names such as Ellie, Joel, Abby, Tommy, and Mel.

In each playthrough, players can discover weapons and mods to strengthen themselves for increasingly challenging foes. If a player dies, they can restart, but subsequent runs will offer random weapon mods. The remastered package of No Return includes the complete Last Of Us Part 2 experience with improved visuals, a Guitar Free Play mode, and a speedrun mode for players to compete for the best stage times.

The Last Of Us Part II Remastered will launch on PlayStation 5 January 19.
