Who does Jackie end up with in My Life with the Walter Boys?
Despite the appearance of Jackie choosing to stay with Alex, she ultimately shares a passionate kiss with Cole in the finale. The final scene depicts a conflicted Jackie on a flight from Colorado to New York, leaving her relationship with either Alex or Cole undefined for the time being, mirroring the conclusion of the book.
In the final scene, Jackie appears to be prepared for her happily ever after with Alex, the quieter younger brother of Cole. He even confesses his love for her at Will and Haley’s wedding. However, she doesn't reciprocate, indicating her ongoing conflict. During his speech, Cole states, “When you meet your person, nothing else matters,” while looking at Jackie.
