Notably, this mode will be developed without any input from Treyarch.

The Outbreak formula for Zombies has been met with controversy due to its departure from the original Zombies formula. While Sledgehammer Games may find it easier to create a well-received Zombies experience with this formula, it's worth noting that Treyarch's original framework has produced the most memorable Zombies modes.
