Not only is it incredibly adorable, but it also serves multiple purposes throughout the game. Players can utilize Oatchi as a mount, a substitute for Pikmin, and a valuable ally in combat. With its unwavering loyalty and enhanced usefulness, Oatchi proves to be more than just a faithful canine companion.
One of the highlights of Oatchi is the upgrade track included by Nintendo. In Pikmin 4, players can gather upgrade points called Pup Drive. These points are obtained by rescuing castaways and can be used at the Rescue Corps landing site to enhance Oatchi's abilities.
