If the final episodes focused solely on clarifying everyone's futures, there would be no room for The Conners season 6 to bring back David Healy, who was not fully utilized in Roseanne, or Dan's close friend Chuck Mitchell. If the spinoff cannot make time for these cherished members of the Roseanne cast, it would be pointless for The Conners season 6 to conclude the family's stories without their presence among friends and neighbors.
