The Bear‘s Ayo Edebiri conducted herself with professionalism when she was asked — multiple times — about costar Jeremy Allen White‘s sizzling Calvin Klein campaign.
Edebiri, 28, was asked about her response to the ads while at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 7. She initially went along when the topic was brought up on the red carpet.
"I'm working on building muscle," she told Entertainment Tonight, joking that she was motivated to go to the gym after seeing White's photo shoot. "So I'm eating, I'm increasing my protein intake, and I'm taking creatine."
Edebiri playfully mentioned that she planned to concentrate on working on her abs in the second quarter of the year. She joked that she would focus on her quads during Q3, and then move back up to her arms. She also quipped that she would leave the rest of her leg alone.
As the evening progressed, the questions kept coming. She participated in a red carpet interview with Access Hollywood alongside Quinta Brunson from Abbott Elementary. Edebiri had to look away when a more NSFW image of White, 32, was shown.
"Jeremy, please put that away," joked Brunson, 34, in a TikTok video.
Edebiri expressed her happiness for her costar, saying, "That's my boy, you know what I mean? I want people to understand that he's my coworker."

The Bear achieved great success at the Golden Globes, with both Edebiri and White securing individual awards for their outstanding performances. The popular Hulu series also clinched the prestigious Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy accolade. Backstage after their triumph, the cast was once more questioned about White’s campaign.
The Extra reporter started off by saying, "I have a very important question for all of you." Edebiri murmured, "I think I know what it is," as the interviewer grabbed a large photo from the Calvin Klein shoot. She moved forward to remove the prop while White chuckled uneasily.
"I'm saving this for my son! He's my little boy," she playfully remarked, adding, "This is a professional event!"
Abby Elliott and other members of the cast also chimed in to support their "team," with Ebon Moss-Bachrach jokingly saying, "We're not at a lingerie awards show, if you catch my drift. We're here to discuss our show."

White acknowledged feeling uncomfortable with the attention garnered by the recently launched campaign. He expressed a sense of detachment from the spotlight, but admitted to feeling pleased at seeing a billboard featuring himself in New York City. In the press room following his victory, White remarked on the unusual experience of shooting a Calvin Klein ad and the subsequent release, but ultimately expressed gratitude and contentment with the current state of affairs.
