The release of episode 9 of The Vexations of a Shut-in Vampire Princess has been postponed by one week for reasons unknown and not officially announced. In lieu of episode 9, a recap special episode will be broadcast.

Originally scheduled for December 2, 2023, episode 9 will now be released on December 9, 2023.

Viewers in Japan can catch the latest installment on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and other channels. Australian fans can look forward to the release on December 10, 2023, while global audiences can watch the new episode on HIDIVE.

As a result of this delay, the release schedule for future episodes will be impacted. This weekly TV series will experience a shift in the release dates of upcoming episodes, with a consistent one-week delay for the remainder of the series.

During episode 8, Sakuna Memoire shared her cherished memories with Terakomari, revealing her true motives and the underlying reasons for her actions. She also divulged her inner turmoil and confessed to all the crimes she had committed. Her memories served as a poignant reflection of her profound loneliness and desperate longing for a sense of belonging.

However, Terakomari's compassion and understanding transformed Sakuna's heart. Despite all the crimes she had committed, Terakomari accepted and forgave her, leading to Sakuna's decision to no longer be manipulated by Inverse Moon.

Odilon, a leader of Inverse Moon, was deeply disappointed and enraged when Sakuna defied him and left the organization, leading to a fierce showdown between them. Sadly, Sakuna was defeated, but in her final moments before losing consciousness, she compelled Terakomari to drink her blood, knowing it would trigger her core implosion.

Eventually, Terakomari's core implosion awakened, and she engaged in a battle with Odilon. Terakomari overpowered Odilon and emerged victorious in the Crimson Lord's battle.
