Tekken 8 will reintroduce Claudio Serafino, an exorcist warrior, who made his first appearance in the previous game. Bandai Namco officially revealed this highly anticipated installment of their 3D fighting franchise at EVO 2022 event in September. Katsuhiro Harada, the series director, has assured fans that Tekken 8 will be more aggressive than its predecessors, thanks to the implementation of a new "Heat" gauge system.
Naturally, a compelling fighting game is incomplete without a diverse range of playable characters. The team working on Tekken 8 has already confirmed the inclusion of several beloved fighters from past games. Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, a conflicted father-son duo, were among the characters announced shortly after the revelation of Tekken 8. In the following months, Bandai Namco has gradually unveiled additional fighters through gameplay trailers, showcasing their unique movesets.
One more character has been added to the roster of fighters in Tekken 8: Claudio Serafino. A new character trailer for Tekken 8 has been recently uploaded on YouTube, showcasing Claudio as he unleashes his divine power in two intense battles against King and Bryan Fury. Claudio delivers a brutal combo of supernaturally-enhanced strikes, overpowering King, followed by his Special Move that involves shooting a point-blank arrow of light at Fury, ultimately defeating him.
Claudio Serafino is a relatively new addition to the Tekken universe, debuting in Tekken 7 in 2017. In the game, he is introduced as the leader of the Archers of Sirius, an ancient order of exorcists with a centuries-long mission of eliminating supernatural threats. In Tekken 7's storyline, Claudio is compelled to ally with the villainous Heihachi Mishima, who seeks his assistance in vanquishing Kazuya Mishima's Devil Gene form. In combat, Claudio utilizes the Sirius-Style Exorcism Sorcery fighting technique to combat the multitude of dark forces present in the war-torn Tekken universe.
Claudio Serafino, the Italian exorcist, will once again showcase his demon-busting abilities in the upcoming game, Tekken 8. While the official release date for Tekken 8 is yet to be announced, Bandai Namco has ample time to reveal additional familiar fighters from the extensive history of the Tekken franchise. The game is currently being developed for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
