Taylor Swift is gradually gaining support from NFL athletes, one at a time. Former quarterback Bernie Kosar revealed on the “Tobin and Leroy” show on December 18 that he met the 34-year-old singer before a Kansas City Chiefs game this season. (Swift has been seen at Arrowhead Stadium since September, attending multiple games to support her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce.)

"Kosar, 60, praised the pop star as an exceptional role model for young parents and kids, applauding her genuine attention to people and consideration as truly spectacular. They had previously watched a Browns game together and he shared photos of them both wearing Chiefs gear in October."

Reflecting further on his time with Swift, Kosar shared insight into the sporty celebration they attended. “Those pictures were taken at the pregame meal,” he explained on Monday. “Typically, on an NFL team, you go to the hotel the night before the game, you wake up the next morning and have the pregame meal. Then you go to the stadium with the team.”

Kosar shared that Kelce and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid have a unique approach. "Travis comes home. I was at his house about three hours before the game, we're having a pregame meal," he said. "And Taylor is so kind, she comes in alone. She's so awesome, she made homemade cinnamon rolls for Travis for a pregame meal."

Kosar couldn't resist trying Swift's pastries. "I'm currently juicing, trying to be vegan and gluten-free, but I definitely had to try some of that on game day," he joked.

Kosar, a fellow native of Ohio, has had a long-standing connection with the Kelce family. He mentioned in an interview that he had been in talks with Ed Kelce about collaborating on a podcast. Kosar also expressed his fondness for the Kelce parents, Donna and Ed, as well as their sons, Travis and Jason, recalling the time they dressed up as Cleveland Browns Bernie Kosars for Halloween.

Swift and Kelce's relationship has been going strong since they were first seen together at one of his games. However, the Grammy winner disclosed that their romance began during the summer, after Kelce mentioned her on his podcast. "This all began when Travis charmingly called me out on his podcast, which I thought was incredibly cool," she shared in her TIME 2023 Person of the Year cover story, referencing a podcast episode from July called "New Heights."

Following Kelce’s shout-out, the couple began spending time together. "We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew about, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other," she explained. "By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be crazy enough to make our first date public like that."

This season, Swift has been a regular presence at Chiefs games. Most recently, she was spotted at the team's Sunday, December 17th game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. She enjoyed the game from a VIP suite with her dad, Scott Swift, friend Alana Haim, and Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes.
