Football fans may have reached their limit when it comes to coverage of Taylor Swift's attendance at Travis Kelce's games - and they're not alone.

On Sunday, October 1, the 33-year-old Swift brought her high-profile friends to watch the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, and the group quickly became the main focus. Jason Kelce and Travis, also 33, hinted during their "New Heights" podcast episode on Wednesday, October 4, that the NFL has gone overboard with the frenzy.

Jason, who is 35 years old, questioned if the NFL was going too far. He urged his brother to provide his sincere viewpoint, without letting his personal sentiments towards Taylor affect his response. In reply, Travis expressed that he enjoyed seeing the participants present at the game as he believed it added to the overall ambiance and enhanced the viewing experience. However, he also believed that the NFL was excessively exaggerating this aspect, particularly considering his own circumstances.

Travis acknowledged the league's intention of having fun and engaging a new set of fans in the sport. However, Jason presented a contrasting viewpoint, suggesting that the NFL is unaccustomed to seeing celebrities attend games. He compared it to the NBA, where celebrities sit courtside and are briefly shown before the focus returns to the game.

Travis playfully warned the stars at the games to stay alert when cameras were around. "You never know, you might get caught eating a giant cheeseburger and end up looking foolish," he jokingly remarked. "There are certain things... you definitely don't want to be on TV all the time."

Last month, Travis and the Chiefs garnered even more attention when rumors started circulating about his relationship with Swift. Adding fuel to the fire, on September 24, she was seen enthusiastically cheering him on from a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium — even conversing with his mother. Swift and Travis then left the venue together and joined the team for a postgame celebration.

On the September 27 episode of "New Heights," Travis candidly addressed the depth of his romance with Swift for the first time. Taking responsibility for the constant gossip, he admitted, "I acknowledge that I have brought all of this attention upon myself… However, it is important to recognize that this is my personal life, and I want to show respect for both of our lives." Travis highlighted that Swift doesn't receive as much media attention as he does, since he appears on the show every week and enjoys his time on other NFL-related programs.

Although Travis thoroughly enjoyed having Swift present at his game, he hinted at maintaining a more low-key approach in the future. "Perhaps, I will have to limit my discussions about sports and resort to phrases like 'Alright now'," he suggested.

The rest of the world is equally interested in the event. During Sunday's game, Swift was seen with her famous red lip, enjoying cocktails in a suite with a group of well-known friends including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman. The NFL broadcast, which was viewed by 27 million people at home, frequently showcased these celebrities. A source from the new issue of We describes Swift as "low-key and low-maintenance" at the event. Another insider reveals that Swift and Travis speak daily, indicating the strengthening of their bond.
