For the past four years, I have been struggling with anorexia nervosa," she shared in a heartfelt essay for Vogue in May 2023. By the spring of 2022, my weight had dropped to around 84 pounds. I constantly felt cold and had to call mobile IV teams to come to my house. I was even too scared to walk in my Los Angeles neighborhood, fearing I wouldn't find a place to rest and catch my breath.

Tallulah also touched upon her father's battle with aphasia, a condition the Willis family made public in March 2022. As a result of a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, Bruce has decided to step back from his acting career.

Tallulah admitted that she was too unwell to face her father's decline head-on, resorting to avoidance and denial. However, she has since learned to be present in all aspects of her life, especially in her relationship with her dad. She can now bring a positive and uplifting energy to their interactions.
