Sydney Sweeney Stuns in Elegant Lace Ensemble and Chic Bob Hairstyle at 'Immaculate' Premiere

Sydney Sweeney, aged 26, recently joined the bob trend.

She flaunted her new haircut at the premiere of Immaculate during SXSW in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, March 12. The bob cut reached just below her chin, with layers framing her face. Completing the look was a deep side part that almost covered her eyes.

The actress debuted her new look at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, March 10. She wore a custom white lace off-the-shoulder gown by Richard Quinn, with silk sleeves and a pleated skirt. The dress also had a thigh-high slit, showing off her white lace over-the-knee heels. To complete her outfit, Sweeney accessorized with pearl earrings from Octavia Elizabeth and rings from Nouvel Heritage and Jennifer Meyer.

That evening, she wore the same cream silk dress that Angelina Jolie had worn at the 2004 Academy Awards. The backless gown, created by Marc Bouwer, had ruching around the waist and a delicate shawl that both actresses stylishly draped over their wrists.

Bouwer recently posted on Instagram to commend Sweeney for donning the iconic gown and even posted a side-by-side photo of Jolie wearing the same outfit twenty years ago.

He shared the post with the caption: "Throwback to 2004 when Angelina Jolie wore this to the Oscars, now beautifully worn by @sydney_sweeney. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, I couldn't ask for a better revival." Bouwer expressed gratitude to Sweeney's stylist, Molly Dickson, for her excellent styling.

In response, Dickson also expressed her excitement, thanking Bouwer on Instagram "for allowing us to access your archives for this memorable moment."

Dickson has been dressing Sweeney for most of her career and was the brains behind Sweeney’s memorable Miu Miu gown at the 2023 Met Gala.
