Surprise Wedding: Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup Tie the Knot with a Jaw-Dropping Dress and Budget Bouquet

Naomi Watts opted for a stunning designer dress for her wedding to Billy Crudup on June 9, but when it came to the floral arrangements, she didn't overspend.

On her wedding day, the 54-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a photo of her exquisite bouquet with the caption, "Flowers from the deli!!" The arrangement comprised of beautiful white flowers that perfectly complemented her elegant attire. Speaking of which, Naomi's lace dress was designed by none other than Oscar de la Renta and was priced at a whopping $4,990. The Water Lily Guipure Lace Maxi Dress is not part of a bridal collection but boasts a stunning peekaboo construction, complete with a boned bustier-style bodice and a pleated A-line skirt. To add a touch of modesty, the actress added a nude lining to the sheer lace dress.

For a finishing touch, she accessorized with gold accents such as high-heeled sandals and a necklace. To keep the attention on her stunning dress, even her sunglasses were in a neutral shade. Watts made sure to credit the designers behind her beautiful wedding bands, tagging Oscar de la Renta, stylist Jeanann Williams, and jewelry atelier Briony Raymond New York.

The groom looked dashing in his navy suit paired with a crisp white shirt and matching boutonniere as he posed for photographs outside the New York County Supreme Court in Lower Manhattan. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds joined forces with two other happy couples - Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney, as well as Josh Hamilton and Lily Thorne - to celebrate their shared joy and commitment.

Michelle Pfeiffer sent her congratulations to Watts and Crudup via social media, expressing her happiness for the couple. Amy Sedaris also shared her excitement, commenting on how perfect the two are together.

Gwyneth Paltrow expressed her excitement by writing, "Yipeeeeeee!!!! Sending so much love!!" Katie Holmes also joined in congratulating the achievement with multiple exclamation marks. Additionally, Andy Cohen took credit for the success by patting himself on the back, stating, "I feel partially responsible for this️."

The actress who starred in King Kong acknowledged, "You can certainly take a significant portion of the credit."

Prior to this, Watts had been involved in a committed relationship with Liev Schreiber, with whom she has two children - Sasha, 16, and Kai, 15. The pair separated in 2016 after being together for 11 years, but have continued to co-parent and support each other.

Crudup was previously involved in a relationship with Mary-Louise Parker for a period of seven years, which ended during her pregnancy with their son William, who is currently 19 years old. This was due to his involvement in an affair with Claire Danes, whom he dated until 2006.
