Are Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup Secretly Married? Matching Rings Stir Rumors

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup have been the subject of rumors about their relationship status for some time now. Recently, there has been speculation that the couple may have tied the knot in secret. On June 9th, the pair were seen together in New York City, with Watts looking stunning in a white Oscar de la Renta gown and matching blazer, while holding a small bouquet of white flowers. Crudup opted for a navy suit, and the couple were also seen wearing coordinating rings, adding fuel to the rumors of a secret wedding.

Watts and Crudup have not made any public statements regarding their current relationship status despite dating since 2017. The couple initially met while playing a married couple on Netflix's Gypsy and their real-life relationship was confirmed by Us Weekly in August of the same year. An insider shared with Us that they were in the early stages of their relationship and very much into each other.

During the course of their romance, the relationship between the Infinite Storm star and Crudup has intensified. In fact, earlier this year, rumors of their engagement were fueled when Watts was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while out in NYC. At the time, neither Crudup nor the New York native commented on the speculation when approached by media outlets. Watts had previously shared details about her relationship with Crudup, including how they celebrated her birthday in September of 2022.

On her actual birthday, she opted for a low-key celebration with her children and partner Billy on a Wednesday school night. However, the weekend brought an opportunity for a more social gathering as she hosted friends for drinks and food, which she described as a lovely time. Watts shares two children, Sasha and Kai, with her former long-term partner Liev Schreiber, with whom she continues to co-parent amicably despite their split in 2016.

Building a life with someone and experiencing change can be difficult. However, for the 55-year-old actor, he and his ex-partner have maintained a partnership that keeps them amicable. Despite moving on with his girlfriend, he emphasized that they still genuinely care about each other and support one another. As parents, they understand the importance of showing their children that their parents still care for each other, no matter what happens in their relationship.
