The official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle of Ishura anime unveiled two new key visuals featuring the diverse characters of the narrative on Sunday, December 3, 2023. In addition to the key visuals, it was announced that the anime will premiere in Japan on January 3, 2024.
Ishura anime is an adaptation of the dark fantasy light novel of the same name by author Keiso and illustrator Kureta. Currently, the light novel series consists of eight volumes and was the winner of the book/novel category in This Light Novel is Amazing! 2021.
Studio Passione's Ishura anime is set to release on January 3, 2024
The official team behind the Ishura anime has revealed two new key visuals and announced that January 3, 2024, will be the release date. The dark fantasy anime will be available on 22 channels, such as Tokyo MX, BS Nippon, KBS Tokyo, Sun TV, and more.
In addition, Disney+ has obtained the exclusive global streaming rights, allowing fans outside of Japan to watch the anime on the release date. The anime will also be accessible for streaming on Kadokawa's YouTube channel and ABEMA starting January 10, 2023.
The anime's two key visuals, provided by Studio Passione, prominently showcase all the main characters. One of the illustrations highlights the New Principality of Lithia and includes Shark Otorgiri, Ars Hoshihase, Taren no Imashime, Curte no Seiten, Rana no Getsu, and others.
The other visual showcases the metropolitan side's Sojiro Yagyu, Kia the World Word, Elea the Red Tag, Yuno, Hargent, and other key characters. These visuals undoubtedly foreshadow the impending battle between these groups. The captivating art style effectively emphasizes the contrast in mood.
Ishura anime's cast, staff, and more
Official reports have indicated that the upcoming Ishura anime will be produced by Studio Passione. The anime will be helmed by chief director Takao Takahashi and director Yuki Ogawa. The script will be handled by Kenta Ihara, and SANZIGEN will be responsible for the CG animation.
The opening song, Falling into the Carnage, will be performed by Sajo no Hana as listed on the official website. Additionally, the ending theme, Hakka or White Flower, will be sung by Konomi Suzuki.

The upcoming Ishura anime will tell the grand narrative of a world inherited by the demigods. Yen Press describes the dark-fantasy series as:
