Stephen Curry shared in a recent interview that he and his wife, Ayesha Curry, carefully planned their fourth pregnancy to align with his debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Golden State Warriors point guard, 36, mentioned that they took into consideration the timing to ensure he would be available for the Olympics if everything goes according to plan.
Stephen was selected as one of the 12 players for the 2024 Olympics roster by the USA Men’s Basketball team. Other notable athletes who also made the team include LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bam Adebayo, and Anthony Davis. The Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11.
Ayesha, who is 35 years old, revealed in March that she and her partner are expecting their fourth child through a cover story in her Sweet July magazine.
After many years, Stephen and I believed we were finished. We thought, 'Three kids, that's our limit, we won't have any more,'. But last year, we both had a change of heart and decided we wanted to have another child.

She explained that the decision to adopt came from a constant feeling of someone missing. Every time she loaded up the car, she had a nagging sense of forgetting something, but there was no one left behind. This feeling started to play tricks on her mind, making her believe that maybe someone was indeed missing. And so, they embarked on the journey of adoption, believing that it would bring completeness to their family.
Stephen and Ayesha got married in July 2011 after dating for three years. They have three children together: daughters Riley, 11, and Ryan, 8, and son Canon, 5.
During the Voices of Beauty Summit in March, the popular cookbook author talked about her fourth pregnancy and how it differs from her previous pregnancies.
"I feel like I enjoy getting older," said the host of Ayesha’s Home Cooking. "I have a deeper sense of appreciation and gratitude now. Knowing that this is my last pregnancy makes it feel different."
She added, "Every small moment means a lot to me. Despite feeling terrible throughout, I see the positive side. I know what to expect in the end, so things are moving quickly this time."
