Star-studded One-Shot Campaign for Charity by Critical Role Features 'Veep' Stars
Veep' co-stars join Critical Role for a thrilling one-shot campaign, supporting Red Nose Day Help raise funds for this worthy cause as Critical Role continues its annual tradition of giving back for the third consecutive year
Veep co-stars Tony Hale and Sam Richardson are teaming up with the Critical Role Foundation for the Red Nose Day campaign in collaboration with Comic Relief US. The charity event will be livestreamed on November 28 on Critical Role's YouTube and Twitch channel, with the video being available on demand the following day. This special event, part of the "Choose Their Adventure ... Again!" series, will feature Hale and Richardson joining the main cast of Critical Role, including Matt Mercer, Liam O'Brien, Laura Bailey, and Taliesin Jaffe.
The one-shot adventure, set among the mysterious islands of the Shattered Teeth, will be influenced by fan donations received between October 25 and November 3. The Hollywood Reporter states that the amount of the donations will determine various elements of the story, such as the characters' classes, the villains they face, and even major plot twists. Critical Role Raises Money For the Third Year in a Row
For the third time, the Critical Role Foundation has joined forces with Red Nose Day. The previous two events hosted special appearances by the late-night talk show host, Stephen Colbert, who is a passionate enthusiast of fantasy. Colbert even contributed authentic props from The Lord of the Rings franchise to enhance the adventure. Critical Role’s Tiltify page revealed that the collaboration with Colbert garnered an impressive amount of over $190,000 for Red Nose Day 2022.

What is Red Nose Day?
Red Nose Day was established by Comic Relief, a charitable organization from the United Kingdom, with the aim of raising funds to support children affected by poverty and inequality. The concept was to incorporate laughter into the fundraising efforts. Red Nose Day has become the pinnacle event of the year for several decades, featuring renowned comedians such as Rowan Atkinson, Stephen Fry, and David Tennant.
On November 28, Sam Richardson and Tony Hale will be joining Critical Role for a special one-shot campaign in support of Red Nose Day.
