Summary
Solar Opposites season 4 sees a major change with Dan Stevens replacing Justin Roiland as Korvo, the show's narrator and alien with a distaste for humans.
Thomas Middleditch has been cast as Terry, the easygoing extraterrestrial partner of Korvo. Sean Giambrone portrays Yumyulack, a clever scientist alien with a love for pranks. Adding to the talented and diverse lineup of actors in the new season of Solar Opposites are Mary Mack, Christina Hendricks, Kieran Culkin, and Christopher Meloni.
The Solar Opposites season 4 cast welcomes back familiar favorites from the animated series, alongside a major change that disrupts the entire show. Created by the minds behind Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, the show follows a group of aliens who land on Earth to blend in with humans and navigate eccentric adventures and otherworldly conflicts. Korvo and Terry, along with their young counterparts Yumulack and Jesse, and their Pupa, must find a way to survive while strengthening their familial bond.
However, following the conclusion of Solar Opposites season 3, there was a significant shakeup in the production of the Hulu animated series. Roiland, who was both the co-showrunner and voice of Korvo, departed from the show. Consequently, the series needed to replace not only a main character but also someone who primarily served as the narrator. In contrast to Rick and Morty, which will utilize voice actors who resemble Roiland, the Solar Opposites season 4 cast made the daring choice to introduce a completely different voice that adds to the comedic nature of the series. This bold decision has already proven successful, as shown in the released trailers.

Dan Stevens, known for his breakout role as Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey, is set to join the cast of Solar Opposites season 4, taking over the role previously held by Justin Roiland.
