During Christmas shopping, Sofia Richie's husband, Elliot Grainge, openly expressed his opinion on a pair of shoes that she was interested in purchasing.
Richie, age 25, posted a TikTok video on Friday, December 15, in which Grainge, age 30, can be seen offering his critique of a pair of Loewe shoes. "It looks like a rich duck would wear that," Grainge commented about the Toy Pants Boots from the fashion house, which have a price tag of $2,700. These unique boots are made of smooth brown leather with a design that resembles a pair of buttoned-up trousers. They also feature a studded round-toe and a tall flared heel.
"A wealthy duck has other ducks quacking on their behalf... It's a heavily embellished, thick, and wide leather boot sock," Elliot continued as Richie burst into laughter and exclaimed, "That's profound!"
But Grainge wasn't finished. He continued to voice his displeasure with the item, saying, "You know fashion has gone too far when they release something like this."
Richie then focused on the boots, addressing the camera, "He's not on the ground, ladies and gentlemen, he's still up." Richie humorously commented on the outing in the video's caption, saying, "Note to self: don't bring Elliot Christmas shopping with me again." @sofiarichiegrainge

Grainge has previously offered his stylish expertise, as seen when he narrated Richie's makeup routine following the couple's wedding in France last April. In a TikTok video, Grainge introduced himself as Sofia Richie Grainge and began a makeup tutorial, with Richie joining in to share that she had already started applying her first product.
Grainge continued to apply the makeup, commenting on the fast pace of the one-minute social media video. "Another black tube putting lines above the eyes [and] everywhere [for contouring]. Putting on another foamy black thing. OK, here we go: Rosy red cheeks, rosy red, doubling on the rosy red cheeks. I think this is the fourth time." Despite struggling to keep up with Richie's quick beat, Grainge also couldn't remember the names of the products. She referred to Richie's beauty blender as a "foamy black thing" and her concealer as the "black Chanel tube." Richie couldn't help but giggle after each makeup misstep.

As Richie's transformation neared completion, Grainge familiarized himself with the correct terms for mascara and other cosmetics. Once Richie finished applying her lipstick, Grainge ended the video with a heartfelt compliment: "You look fantastic," he exclaimed. "And getting ready with me makes me feel pretty, yay!"
