These figures are subject to taxes, as stated by Powerball.

According to the Multi-State Lottery Association, the prize is only exceeded by three previous jackpots, all of which were over $1 billion.

Since a Powerball jackpot was won on July 19, where a ticket sold in California claimed a prize worth $1.08 billion, there have been 29 consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner.

Three tickets sold in Florida and one in Oregon were the big winners on Monday, each matching five of the numbers to win $1 million prizes, as reported on Powerball's website. The Powerball jackpot, on the other hand, rolled over on Saturday as no ticket managed to match all six numbers drawn - which were white balls 1, 12, 20, 33, 66, and Powerball 21 - to claim the grand prize.

However, Saturday did yield some significant winners. Three tickets were sold in California, Florida, and New York, each matching all five white balls, resulting in $1 million prizes. Additionally, a ticket sold in Michigan not only matched all five white balls but also utilized the prize multiplier feature, earning a $2 million prize, as stated by Powerball.

In November 2022, California witnessed the largest-ever Powerball jackpot victory, amounting to an impressive $2.04 billion.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, according to Powerball.
