Single's Inferno Season 3 Host Accuses Gwan-hee of Cowardly Behavior Towards Hye-seon

Single's Inferno Season 3 host criticizes Gwan-hee for his behavior towards Hye-seon, leaving Lee Da-hee disappointed Fans speculate Gwan-hee's chances with Hye-seon are now in jeopardy

Gwan-hee is facing more challenges in Single’s Inferno Season 3 as host/singer Lee Da-hee becomes furious with his behavior towards Hye-seon during their private conversation.

As the Netflix Korean dating reality series nears its conclusion, fans are still uncertain about Gwan-hee's final choice. He has expressed a preference for women to affirm their feelings for him rather than him being truthful with them. Currently, he is torn between Min-ji, Hye-seon, and Ha-jeong.

However, when given another opportunity to go to Paradise, Gwan-hee admitted that he was hesitant to go with Hye-seon. He was afraid that he would be easily influenced by her, just like he had been on their first date. This raised concerns among fans and the hosts of Single’s Inferno Season 3, who initially viewed Gwan-hee's easygoing charm as a positive trait. His conversation with Hye-seon before Paradise particularly unsettled host Lee Da-hee.

Lee Da-hee was disappointed in Gwan-hee

During the host discussion in Episode 9, Da-hee openly called Gwan-hee a coward for trying to change the narrative with Hye-seon instead of speaking his true feelings to her.

After returning to Inferno with Min-ji, Gwan-hee quickly headed off to a luxury resort once again. The female contestants competed in a chicken match to win the top three spots and choose their dates for Paradise. Coincidentally, the final three contestants were all interested in Gwan-hee, with Hye-seon coming in first.

Prior to making their decisions, Gwan-hee was surprised to not see Hye-seon with the others and went to check on her. Thinking she was unwell, Hye-seon revealed that she had no one to talk to about her Paradise decision. During their conversation, Hye-seon openly expressed her belief that Min-ji was more Gwan-hee's type due to her straightforwardness about her feelings.

Gwan-hee surprised everyone by asking Hye-seon if she would have still chosen to go to Paradise with Won-ik. This made him uncomfortable, especially when Hye-seon admitted she had no regrets. Gwan-hee did not seem pleased with her response.

The hosts of Single's Inferno Season 3 talked about Gwan-hee's behavior and how they couldn't understand his intentions. Dex was puzzled by Gwan-hee's mixed signals, wondering why he was leading Hye-seon on while saying something different to Min-ji.

Da-hee quickly chimed in, saying that Gwan-hee had been clear about not wanting to pursue Ha-jeong. "But with Hye-seong, it seems like he's keeping his options open," she added.

"Instead of being upfront and honest, he's skirting around the issue and bringing up Won-ik," she said. "It's cowardly. He's acting like such a coward."

The hosts were both amused and surprised by her choice of words. One host even explained that Da-hee isn't usually so passionate. The others also recognized that Da-hee wanted to confront Gwan-hee for his actions.

Fans agree that Gwan-hee will lose Hye-seon

Lee Da-hee's comments about Gwan-hee in Single’s Inferno Season 3 have resonated with fans, particularly in light of a preview for the upcoming episode that shows a tense conversation between Gwan-hee and Hye-seon. The upcoming drama in the finale seems to stem from this confrontation, where Hye-seon expresses her frustrations to Gwan-hee, making it clear that she wants someone who is confident in their feelings and doesn't need to be pursued. Many fans believe that Gwan-hee's preference for women to approach him may not work in his favor.

Hajeong was the last person to be this honest with him, and he abandoned her. Now it's Hyeseon's turn, and I'm sure his ego will be crushed once again. And you know what? He'll leave Hyeseon for Minji. Dahee was right to call him a coward. #SinglesInferno3 pic.twitter.com/3c4tLiM55e

One fan on X/Twitter remarked, "The last person who was being this honest to him was hajeong, and he left her. Now, it's hyeseon and I believe his ego will be shattered once again and predict what? he'll leave hyeseon for minji. Dahee was correct in calling him a coward."

I hope he picks minji at this point. He is too hesitant for me to support him being with Hyeseon in good conscience. #singlesinferno3 pic.twitter.com/0BqJ2Kbvrc

Another fan expressed their opinion, stating that Hye-seon deserved better. "At this point, I hope he chooses Minji. He is too indecisive for me to support him being in a relationship with Hye-seon," they commented.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan of Single's Inferno Season 3, I am disappointed and frustrated with Gwan-hee's behavior towards Hye-seon. It is clear that he is not being genuine with his feelings and is leading her on. I agree with host Lee Da-hee that Gwan-hee is acting like a coward by not being upfront and honest with Hye-seon. He is trying to avoid confrontation and is putting his own feelings above hers. This is not only unfair to Hye-seon, but it also makes it difficult for viewers to root for him.

I believe that Gwan-hee's chances with Hye-seon are now in jeopardy. She has made it clear that she wants someone who is confident in their feelings and doesn't need to be pursued. Gwan-hee's actions have shown that he is not that person. I think that Hye-seon will eventually realize that she deserves better and will choose someone else in the finale.
