After nearly two decades since his portrayal as Shaun in the first Shaun of the Dead film, Simon Pegg firmly shuts down any expectations for a sequel. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Pegg directly expresses his belief that it is time to let go and move forward.
"If I ever do an Instagram Live or anything similar, people frequently request, 'I want Shaun of the Dead 2 in my life.' And my response is always, 'Absolutely not! You definitely do not need Shaun of the Dead 2! The last thing you require is Shaun of the Dead 2! It's completed. It's time to move forward!'"
