10 Sterling K. Brown
Sterling K. Brown distinguishes himself from other actors on this list by securing a recurring role in the hit series Supernatural. He portrays Gordon Walker, a relentless vampire hunter driven by an unwavering determination to eliminate the undead. Throughout the show, Gordon graces two episodes in season 2 and one in season 3. Unfortunately, conflicts arise between him and the Winchester brothers as their distinct approaches to hunting clash. Revealing a twisted delight in his successful kills, Gordon ultimately falls victim to the very creatures he hunts and meets his demise when he crosses paths with the Winchesters, who ensure his eternal rest through decapitation.
9 Amber Benson
Amber Benson's notable portrayal in Buffy The Vampire Slayer was as Willow's girlfriend, maintaining a recurring role throughout the series. In Supernatural, Benson made appearances in two episodes, the first of which included Sterling in season 2. Her character, Lenore, takes on the role of a benevolent vampire leader whose group survives by consuming cattle instead of humans. Lenore resurfaces in season 6, specifically in episode 19 titled "Mommy Dearest," where she divulges Eve's whereabouts to the Winchesters and Castiel. However, in an unexpected twist, Castiel abruptly terminates Lenore after the boys exit the room.
8 Lauren Cohan
Although Lauren Cohan is widely recognized for her portrayal of Maggie in The Walking Dead, her character in Supernatural, Bela Talbot, is much less favorable. As a teenager, she made a pact with a crossroads demon, solely focused on her own self-interest and survival. When the brothers come across her, she is already in cahoots with demons, desperately trying to protect herself from the repercussions of her initial deal. Cohan's presence in six episodes of Supernatural season 3 always spells trouble for the Winchesters.
7 Cory Monteith
6 Linda Blair
The late Cory Monteith made an early appearance in the second episode of Supernatural's first season in 2005, titled "Wendigo". This was before his breakout role as quarterback Finn Hudson in the popular series Glee. In the episode, Monteith played a young man on a camping trip in the woods who tragically falls victim to a Wendigo attack. Given Monteith's relatively unknown status at the time and the brevity of his appearance, it's understandable that this cameo may have gone unnoticed by many.Linda Blair gained fame for her portrayal of Regan in The Exorcist. In one episode of Supernatural, specifically season 2, episode 7, titled "The Usual Suspects," Blair took on the role of Detective Diana Ballard. Interestingly, this cameo is easily missed by viewers, but throughout the episode, the characters Sam and Dean Winchester continually allude to The Exorcist while they confront a wrathful ghost.
5 Robert Englund
Robert Englund, renowned for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger in The Nightmare on Elm Street series, left a lasting impression in "Appointment in Samarra," the eleventh episode of Supernatural season 6. Englund takes on the role of Dr. Robert, an old associate of John Winchester. When Dean implores him to assist in his quest for death, in order to negotiate for Sam's soul with Death himself, it is Dr. Robert who administers the sedative. This act bears a resemblance to his infamous villainous persona, as he dispatches his victims while they slumber in a dreamlike state.
4 Paris Hilton
In the fifth episode of Supernatural's fifth season, titled "Fallen Idols," the Winchesters find themselves investigating a peculiar case in a small town. Its residents have been mysteriously abducted and murdered by well-known icons, both deceased, like Abraham Lincoln, and living, like Paris Hilton. To their astonishment, one of the manifestations of this murderous demon takes the form of Paris Hilton herself. This eerie cameo showcases Hilton's self-awareness, although it is important to note that the character impersonating her is a sinister, murderous creature.
3 Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi
2 James Marsters
Snooki plays a comical version of herself, possessed by a crossroads demon, in a similar fashion to Hilton's role. Her appearance takes place in episode 16 of season 9 of Supernatural, titled "Blade Runners," as Sam and Dean track down Crowley in search of a powerful weapon. Although Snooki's role is brief, it adds a touch of fun as the Winchester brothers fully embrace the comedic aspect of Snooki portraying a demon.
James Marsters, renowned for his role as Spike in the beloved series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, makes a special appearance in season 7, episode 5 of Supernatural, titled "Shut Up, Dr. Phil". Marsters assumes the role of one-half of a struggling witch/warlock duo, whose relationship is going through a challenging phase. The significance of this portrayal is heightened by the compelling performance of the actor portraying Marsters' enchanting wife.
1 Charisma Carpenter
In "Shut Up, Dr. Phil," Charisma Carpenter, known for her role in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, portrays the wife of James Marsters' character in Supernatural. Although they didn't often share the screen in Buffy, their undeniable chemistry convincingly portrays the tense yet familiar dynamic of the arguing couple. As Sam and Dean inadvertently become involved in their conflicts, it is a delightful sight to witness numerous stars from other gripping series coming together to back Supernatural.
