Riverdale star Mädchen Amick has confirmed that one of her co-stars will not return for the show's final season. Season 7 of Riverdale will mark the end of the long-running series on The CW. In an interview with Decider, Amick shared that nearly every character was expected to make a comeback for season 7. FP & Alice's Relationship In Riverdale Explained

I don't have all the details, but he ultimately didn't join our team. We had hoped that everyone would follow through, and Roberto's intention was to bring back as many people as possible for the final season. There was even an episode dedicated to his character, but unfortunately, it never materialized. Therefore, fans of Falice [FP & Alice] are left yearning for something that simply never came to fruition.
FP is the biological father of Jughead Jones (portrayed by Cole Sprouse), while Alice is the biological mother of Betty Cooper (portrayed by Lili Reinhart). Although they had a romantic relationship in their youth, FP and Alice rediscovered their love for each other during the events that unfolded in Riverdale. This rekindled romance led them to cohabitate, raising their children together. However, FP later discovered that they had another child, Charles, during their teenage years.
