"This is Us" star Chrissy Metz and her boyfriend of more than three years, Bradley Collins, are parting ways.
The pair shared the news via a joint Instagram post.
"After being together for three and a half years, we have mutually chosen to peacefully conclude our romantic relationship. Although our love for one another remains strong, we firmly believe that this is the most favorable course of action for both of us," states the post. "There are still books to be written, songs to be sung, and a cherished friendship that will ensure we remain a part of each other's lives indefinitely."
Metz disclosed in 2021, during an appearance on "Today," that they encountered each other through the dating app Bumble amidst the peak of the pandemic, despite having common interests."
"It came as a total surprise. What's amusing is that we actually have a lot of mutual acquaintances. We share the exact same friend circle and have even been in the same gatherings previously, but somehow our paths never crossed until now, so it sparked my interest," stated Metz during that time. "We truly had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with one another because in socially distanced dating, you can't rush into physical intimacy. It's actually beneficial, guys. Take your time to truly get to know the person you're dating."
This year, they collaborated on a children's book called "When I Talk To God, I Talk About You," which was released earlier.
