After 3 Years Together, ‘This Is Us’ Star Chrissy Metz & Bradley Collins Call it Quits: Find Out Why!

This Is Us actress Chrissy Metz and her boyfriend, Bradley Collins, have decided to end their romantic relationship after more than three years. Metz, 43, and Collins made a joint statement on Instagram, stating that they have amicably parted ways. They expressed their continued love for each other but believe that this is the best decision for both of them.

Their statement concluded, "We have more books to write, songs to sing, and a special friendship to ensure that we remain a part of each other's lives forever." The Emmy nominee and the musician recently released their first children's book, titled When I Talk to God, I Talk About You.

While shooting the final season of This is Us, Metz and Collins collaborated remotely via Zoom, phone calls, and FaceTime in Nashville. Through this joint writing process, they discovered the joy of adapting their story every day and simplifying it, as they had numerous versions. Additionally, they developed effective communication skills to share their respective opinions during the pursuit of reducing the number of storylines.

"We were faced with challenges that tested our patience and the qualities we seek in a partner, making us question how we could navigate them together," she shared with Us. "By embarking on this incredible and monumental project while starting our relationship, we gained a deeper understanding of each other and our bond."

Metz and Collins crossed paths through the dating app Bumble during the COVID-19 pandemic, publicly revealing their love story in October 2020.

Collins shared in April that he questioned the authenticity of Metz's profile due to the majority of her photos being Getty Images. He initially suspected that it might be a catfish pretending to be her. However, after engaging in conversation, he became certain that it was indeed her. Collins was already familiar with Metz's career, having seen her on Entourage prior to This Is Us, but it was her genuine and down-to-earth nature that ultimately captured his interest.
