Shawn Booth and Audrey “Dre” Joseph are opening up about their new roles as parents.
Introducing Locks Joseph Booth! On Sunday, December 17, Booth, 36, and Joseph, 30, announced the arrival of their son with a heartwarming joint Instagram post. "We are thrilled to introduce Locks Joseph Booth, born on 12/12 @ 13:13. He has already brought us so much joy," they wrote. The post also included a carousel of adorable photos and a sweet video of their newborn son sneezing.
Joseph took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of the couple looking lovingly at their son, captioned "heaven." She also expressed gratitude for the support and love they have received, saying "I'm certain I witnessed a glimpse of heaven on 12/12. Everything in life seems to finally have meaning. Purpose. I love this little BOY."
The former Bachelorette contestant initially revealed on Wednesday, December 13, that he and Joseph had welcomed their first child.

"Baby Booth made his arrival yesterday and is in perfect health," he announced on Instagram Story, sharing a photo of their son's tiny feet. "Mom is a complete rockstar and did amazing!"
He added, "Everything went incredibly smoothly and we are overflowing with gratitude. It's the best feeling in the world."
In July, Booth announced that he would soon become a father, with the baby expected on December 12. However, he did not disclose the mother's identity. During an episode of his podcast "In the Booth With Shawn Booth," he excitedly shared the news, emphasizing that the mother is someone he has known for a long time and has had a relationship with, rather than a casual acquaintance.

He went on to confess that the pregnancy was “a big surprise for the both of us,” and “wasn’t something that was planned.”
"But it will be and is the most wonderful surprise I’ve ever experienced," he expressed. "And it’s going to be incredibly meaningful. I'm eagerly anticipating it. I'm prepared. I'm 37 years old. I've always dreamt of becoming a father."

Later that month, Booth confirmed on his podcast that the mother of his child is Joseph who opened up about how she was feeling during her pregnancy.
"I didn't have constant nausea like many women do during the first 12 weeks," she explained. "But when I did get sick, it was relentless. I spent whole days in the bathroom struggling to eat and keep food down. I had to go to the hospital for fluids a few times and ended up in the ER a couple of times. They couldn't find a heartbeat, which was a whole other ordeal. But we made it through."
