Shawn Booth is officially a dad with the arrival of his first baby with Audrey “Dre” Joseph.
Booth posted a photo of the newborn's feet on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, December 13th. "Our baby arrived yesterday and is doing great," he said excitedly, adding a red heart emoji and a crying emoji. "Mom is amazing and did an incredible job!"
He went on to say, "The whole experience went really well and we are feeling extremely grateful. It's the best feeling in the world."
Former Bachelorette contestant Shawn Booth revealed in July that he and a mystery woman were expecting a child together. In an episode of his podcast, "In the Booth With Shawn Booth," he excitedly shared that they were expecting a baby on December 12. Despite the surprise nature of the pregnancy and it not being planned, Booth expressed his genuine excitement and readiness to become a father at the age of 37.
Booth later revealed on his podcast that Joseph, a photographer he had hired five years ago to take pictures of his gym, is the mother of his child. Joseph, 30, then shared some of the struggles she faced during her pregnancy, including dealing with persistent nausea, difficulty eating and keeping food down, and spending time in the bathroom. She also mentioned having to go to the ER and the scare of not being able to find a heartbeat - but they ultimately made it through.
Booth and Joseph had a difference of opinion in the episode regarding his participation in the delivery room. Joseph insisted, "I think he should go down there and cut the cord and be there and watch."

Booth was reluctant to be heavily involved. "I've always said I can't handle watching that," he admitted. "I just want to stay by her head and offer moral support. But after talking to other dads, I feel like I might have to roll up my sleeves and get involved."
Before becoming a father with Joseph, Booth was a contestant on season 11 of The Bachelorette, where he got engaged to Kaitlyn Bristowe. Their engagement lasted from 2015 to 2018. Following their breakup, Bristowe, who is 38, began a relationship with Jason Tartick. However, in August, they announced that they had ended their engagement.
