Gary Goldsmith, who is Catherine, Princess of Wales' uncle, is part of the new season of "Celebrity Big Brother" in the UK. He will be sharing the house with other contestants like Sharon Osbourne and Marisha Wallace.
In a video introducing himself, Goldsmith mentioned that he is the uncle of Catherine Middleton, who is the current Princess of Wales and the future Queen of the country.
Goldsmith is Carole Middleton's brother. He mentioned that his niece was absolutely perfect. When he first met Prince William, he kindly offered Goldsmith a cup of tea.
Goldsmith, who is famous for his colorful past, described himself as "a bit of a bad boy" in the video and said it was all very normal.
He also mentioned that he enjoys winding people up, considering it his favorite hobby. According to him, mischief and danger are ingrained in every part of his being, making him full of excitement.
Goldsmith described himself as “an absolute nightmare to live with.”
“There’s a reason why I’ve had four wives,” he added.

Goldsmith's appearance on the show stirred up criticism. This was because he had been fined and received a community order in 2017 for assaulting his wife, as reported by the UK's PA Media news agency.
One post on X questions why ITV bosses allowed a man who punched his wife in the face into #CBBUK. The post specifically asks why Gary Goldsmith is in the house.
Media critic and Daily Telegraph arts and entertainment editor Anita Singh also brought attention to the violent incident in a separate post on X.
"You should be ashamed of yourselves, ITV," she expressed her disappointment.
Some of Goldsmith's housemates in the show are more well-known than others. For example, Osbourne will be sharing the house with former "X Factor" judge Louis Walsh. Other participants include dancer Nikita Kuzmin and TV personality Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who won "Love Island" in the past and also appeared on "The Traitors US."
The latest series started on Monday on UK channel ITV1.
