Sharon Osbourne's biggest regret in life is her third facelift. In an interview with U.K.'s The Times, Osbourne, 71, admitted, "That was the worst thing that I ever did. I looked like Cyclops. I had one eye here and one eye there and my mouth was all skewed, and then I had to wait for that to heal before I could go back and have it corrected."
She chose to undergo a third surgery for reasons of vanity and ego, stating, “Oh, you look great for your age,” but she emphasized, “When I look in the mirror, I see the real me.” This decision came after previously having two facelifts, one in 1987 and another in 2002, despite swearing off plastic surgery in her 2013 memoir. Nonetheless, she ultimately opted for a third facelift in 2021.
Previously, Osbourne recalled the “horrendous,” surgery during an April 2022 interview with U.K.’s The Sunday Times.
In October, Sharon Osbourne underwent a complete facelift and described feeling like a wrapped mummy afterwards. She expressed that the procedure was extremely painful and has stated in a recent interview with The Sun that she will not be having any more facelifts in the future.
Although Osbourne has no immediate intentions to undergo plastic surgery, she did try Ozempic for weight loss at one point before deciding to stop the injections. "Everyone was using it, and I thought, 'I'll try it too.' And this is the result," she revealed in an article on Friday. "It's been a year since I started dieting in December, and I've lost 42 pounds. I seem unable to gain weight back, which is great, but it's also a case of 'be careful what you wish for.'"
Ozempic and similar medications, such as semaglutide injections, are frequently prescribed for managing weight in adults with weight-related conditions like type 2 diabetes. Despite the intended use, some public figures, like Osbourne, have openly acknowledged using it as a weight loss tool.
Although Osbourne appears unfazed by the effects of Ozempic, her family is concerned. She disclosed to The Times that her husband Ozzy Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne are apprehensive about her well-being, as they believe she is not consuming enough food.
Osbourne has been open about her experience with Ozempic before, discussing how it has affected her body.
"I've been off it for some time now, but my advice is not to give it to teenagers, it's just too simple," she expressed to the Daily Mail last month. "You can lose a significant amount of weight, and it's easy to become dependent on that, which is very risky. I couldn't stop losing weight and now I've lost 42 pounds and I can't afford to lose any more."
