Selling Sunset’s Cassandra Dawn dismissed costar Bre Tiesi’s assertions that she was unaware of her existence before the Netflix reality show. Cassandra, who goes by Cassandra Repstad professionally and is 33 years old, posted a screenshot of a comment left by Bre, who is 32 years old, on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 7.
Bre praised Cassandra's beauty and the ring in the October 2021 photo featuring her holding a martini and wearing a diamond band on her ring finger. (Cassandra got married to John Repstad in October 2021.)
Selling Sunset enthusiasts flocked to the comments section of the previous post on Tuesday to highlight that Bre's comment was made before Cassandra became a part of the Selling Sunset cast for season 7, which commenced filming earlier this year.
One Instagram user commented, "@Bre_tiesi, I thought you claimed not to know who she was." Another person joined in, stating, "It's confusing when you say you don't know her, yet you still leave comments on her photos."
Cassandra agreed with viewers' sentiments regarding the revived comment. "I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one who finds this confusing," she wrote on her Instagram Story, accompanied by the screenshot.
When she arrived for season 7 of Selling Sunset, which premiered on Netflix on Friday, November 3, Cassandra asserted that she knew Bre from their modeling days. However, Bre continuously denied having any personal knowledge of Cassandra. Instead, Bre stated that Cassandra had been following her on Instagram for years and frequently leaving comments on her posts.
The tension between the two women reached its pinnacle during the season 7 finale when, at the new Oppenheim Group office, Cassandra labeled Bre as "rude." This sparked Bre's sudden exit from the room as she promptly removed her microphone, expressing her complete disillusionment with the whole situation.

The explosive moment left viewers speculating about what occurred between the duo off-camera. Bre has since revealed that their suspicions were justified.
In response to a fan's question about the finale fight, Bre took to Instagram on Saturday, November 4, to clarify, "They didn't show the entire incident or the major reason behind my outburst. Let's just say it was too repulsive to broadcast."
Bre claimed in a separate comment that she had never crossed paths with this girl before. On Saturday, she emphasized her authenticity by stating, "I don't engage in fake behavior." According to Bre, the girl approached her with ulterior motives and gave off the impression that they were acquainted, even going as far as dictating the timeline of Bre's own life. This encounter was quite off-putting, especially for someone like Bre who was born and raised in Los Angeles – a place where anyone with street smarts would easily recognize a red flag.
Although the full details of what transpired between Bre and Cassandra remain unknown to fans, one thing is certain: Jason Oppenheim supports Bre wholeheartedly.
"I must say, I agree with Bre on this matter," stated Jason, the 46-year-old co-founder of the Oppenheim Group, exclusively sharing his perspective with us prior to the season 7 premiere. "I believe her actions were warranted."
While expressing his support, Jason acknowledged that he possesses no additional insight beyond what the viewers have regarding this particular situation.
