Scott Disick and his youngest son, Reign, are embracing the joy of Hanukkah and getting into the festive spirit.

"Enjoying the simple pleasures of life," Disick, 40, shared on his Instagram Story on Friday, December 8. "Wishing everyone a happy Hanukkah."

The Kardashian family member posed with 8-year-old Reign, who held a toy NERF blaster and wore festive holiday pajamas adorned with illustrations related to Hannukah, including a menorah, a dreidel, a Star of David, a Torah, and a wrapped present. Coinciding with the start of the Jewish Festival of Lights on Thursday, December 7, Disick decorated his home with blue "Happy Hanukkah" balloons and a gold menorah. On the second night, he shared a photo of the lit candelabra in a subsequent Friday upload.

The reality TV star has openly expressed his desire to pass down his Jewish upbringing to his three children. (Disick shares sons Mason, 13, and Reign and daughter Penelope, 11, with ex Kourtney Kardashian.)

"I haven't been to temple in a while, especially alone," Disick confessed during a December 2011 episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, when he visited his childhood synagogue. "I may be a bit out of practice with the prayers, but everyone has to start somewhere."

He later expressed, "I feel a bit uneasy. I don't speak or read Hebrew, and I'm not even sure which prayer we're reciting. But being in temple feels amazing, it really does. Maybe I'll start attending temple more often. I think this will be beneficial for me."

After reconnecting with his roots following parenthood, Disick has been diligent about observing all the significant religious events. Each year, Disick and his children joyfully celebrate Passover and Hanukkah. In December 2022, Mason even had his Bar Mitzvah.

Disick and Kardashian,44, united to celebrate their oldest son's Bar Mitzvah in a grand bash at Los Angeles' Offsunset Lounge.

"Mazel Tov Mason!!!" Khloe Kardashian posted on Instagram, sharing photos with her daughter True and her nieces at the event.
