Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' daughter, Summer Moon, is currently in the process of recovering from an unexpected injury. The Vanderpump Rules star, aged 38, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, July 22, to inform her followers that they were at an urgent care facility in Palm Springs, California, where she shared a picture of her 2-year-old daughter.
Summer was seen in a subsequent video wearing a cast on her arm and drinking milk. Shay inquired about the cause of her daughter's injury, asking if she had broken her forearm. She expressed relief that at least one of them was able to smile in the situation.
Shay's husband, Davies, who is 33 years old, shared on his Instagram Stories that this was Summer's first visit to the emergency room. Despite the circumstances, Summer maintained a positive attitude, earning praise from her father who described her as a little legend. He accompanied his caption with a photo of Summer proudly displaying her bandaged arm.
Shay praised Summer as "Mama's Little Trooper" after her injury. In April 2021, Shay and Davies celebrated the arrival of their first child together, making it Davies' third child overall. Davies also has a son named Eli and a daughter named Winter from a previous relationship. They currently reside in Australia with their mother and stepfather, making it challenging for Summer to meet her siblings after being born.
Davies expressed optimism about the possibility of Summer reuniting with her siblings in person, hoping it would happen sooner rather than later. With her siblings currently residing in Australia, a continued effort is being made to improve the relationship with Davies' ex-partner.
Davies and his former partner were engaged in a custody dispute regarding financial support for their child, a situation that Davies has now resolved.
"I've taken the necessary steps. I'm making progress," he shared with Us in February 2022, affirming that he has commenced making child support payments. "Hopefully, we can foster a stronger bond sooner rather than later. It just requires time."
He mentioned at that time, "I wanted to ensure that I could manage my own affairs. The pandemic worsened the situation, but in the end, we achieved our goal. ... I still have the same position with my ex. It was never about the money with her. It was about accomplishing this. It was about the principle."
Shay and Davies, who began their relationship in 2019, ultimately got married in August 2021, one year before commemorating their wedding in Mexico. Although they enjoy spoiling Summer, they are not in a hurry to have more children.
"We have decided to postpone our plans for conceiving our second child due to the difficulties we experienced. We have agreed to not put any pressure on it during the next menstrual cycle," Davies exclusively revealed to Us last month. "Instead, we want to fully embrace and focus on this upcoming year, as we lay the foundation for our future family."
