Scheana Shay's Explosive Showdown with Tom Sandoval Sparks Chaos on 'Pump Rules' Set

Scheana Shay has the potential to secure an Emmy nomination for Vanderpump Rules with her latest fiery exchange with Tom Sandoval in season 11. The 37-year-old "Good as Gold" singer was seen engaged in a heated argument with Sandoval, 41, at Lisa Vanderpump's SUR restaurant in California on Wednesday, July 12. In a video obtained by TMZ, Scheana can be heard angrily accusing Sandoval of having a relationship with Raquel before storming off.

Production for the Bravo hit series, which was recently nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program, resumed in June following the fallout from Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss. In March, it was confirmed that Sandoval and Ariana Madix had called it quits after being together for almost ten years, thanks to his act of unfaithfulness. As a result, a new finale for season 10 was filmed to address the scandal, followed by a three-part reunion special.

Speaking exclusively to Us at the time, Scheana admitted that her conversation with Sandoval about the affair in the finale was extremely difficult for her. Every word spoken in that conversation felt incredibly significant, making it one of the most challenging scenes she has ever filmed. She emphasized that it was a tough scene to get through.

Unfortunately, the podcast host was unable to film with Raquel for the reunion. This was because Raquel had filed an order of protection against Scheana, claiming that they had a physical altercation after Raquel confessed about her affair with Sandoval during their joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. This information was obtained from court documents in March.

After the reunion taping, Scheana was required to maintain a distance of 100 years from Raquel. Scheana filmed her segment on stage as the original cast member, and then switched places with her former friend. During the May special, Raquel revealed her intention to withdraw the restraining order.

Later, Scheana talked about the events that unfolded between her and Raquel after the temporary restraining order was officially lifted. On an episode of her podcast "Scheananigans" in March, she stated, "There are those who bark and those who bite in our group. That night, I was a biter. I was unable to communicate with her because nothing was getting through. When she physically touched me, I became furious. I yelled, 'Get off me! Get out of my personal space!' In that moment, I just needed her to stay away from me."

Following the unfolding drama on-screen, Scheana turned to social media to reflect on the impact of the controversy on her mental well-being.

Captioning an Instagram Story in May, the reality star, who is married to Brock Davies and has a two-year-old daughter named Summer Moon, expressed how laughter with her daughter was exactly what she needed after reliving the emotions from the recent episode. Scheana shared that she has increased her therapy sessions, resumed her workout routine, and is making an effort to prioritize self-care in order to be the best mother possible. She acknowledged that the past few months have been challenging for her, but she is feeling resilient and grateful for the support of all those who have joined them on this journey.
