Sarah Jessica Parker shared her honest approach to skincare in a recent interview with Grazia UK via AppleNews+. During her travels, the 58-year-old actress confessed to using whichever skincare product happens to be readily available in her hotel room. "Whether it's a bar of soap or a shower gel, it's all the same, isn't it?" she casually mentioned to the magazine.
Parker's refreshing attitude towards skincare is a breath of fresh air in a world where complex, multi-step routines are the standard. This is particularly notable in Hollywood, an industry notorious for its obsession with beauty and youth.
Her commitment to simplicity extends beyond skincare; Parker has always been outspoken about her aversion to injectables and plastic surgery.
"I don't want to do anything drastic that would make people say, 'She looks strange now.' As an actor, I always rely on my facial expressions and emotions, so they are crucial to me," she stated during her conversation with Grazia.
Subsequently, Parker elaborated on how her inclination towards simplicity and effectiveness brought about a seamless partnership with the French skincare company, RoC.
The brand is firmly based on scientific evidence and knowledge; they eliminate any uncertainty from my skincare routine," Parker stated. "They have done all the difficult work, and I simply enjoy the advantages."
In June 2022, Parker initiated her collaboration with RoC, coinciding with the launch of the Look Forward Project. This groundbreaking initiative aims to foster a positive mindset towards the process of aging among women.
In August 2023, RoC collaborated with Parker to launch an exclusive skincare kit. This limited-edition kit features three generous-sized products: the Revive + Glow serum, eye balm, and daily moisturizer with SPF 30. As part of our commitment to support women's mental health, all proceeds from this line will be donated to the SeekHer Foundation.

During the interview with Grazia UK, Parker expressed her preference for a minimal skincare routine. However, she shared a fond memory of encountering an extensive beauty regimen for the first time. In 1976, when Parker was 11 years old and starring in the Broadway show The Innocents, she had the opportunity to visit Claire Bloom's dressing room. Parker vividly remembers Bloom having a collection of face creams and lotions, and she was particularly intrigued by Bloom spraying her face with Evian water. The experience left a lasting impression on Parker, who admired Bloom's elegance and dedication to skincare.
When it comes to beauty advice, the co-star that she trusts the most is Kristin Davis. Davis plays the beloved character Charlotte in the reboot of the show Sex and the City, called And Just Like That. Parker refers to Davis as "the scientist" because she meticulously studies product information and conducts extensive research. In contrast, Parker admits to feeling overwhelmed by it all and often reaches out to Davis or her dermatologist, Dr. Jessica Weiser, when she's confused.
