Salma Hayek has recently shared some throwback photos from her super elegant wedding to celebrate her 15th anniversary with her billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault. The photos show the Frida actress with the Gucci businessman, whom she married in April 2009.

Hayek, who is 57 years old, was seen in the first photo wearing a white corset while looking off to the side. Her hair was styled in a sleek bun for the wedding day, and she displayed a full face of makeup.

In another photo in black and white, the actress displayed her two wedding gowns hanging from a clothing rack.

While in another photo, she is seen with Pinault at the altar as he puts a sparkling diamond ring on her finger.

Hayek and Pinault wed in 2009

Hayek and Pinault tied the knot in 2009. Salma Hayek shared a photo on Instagram from their wedding day.

Actress Jessica Alba commented on the post, saying, "The way he looks at you and you him ❤️❤️❤️." Viola Davis also shared her excitement, adding, "Perfect!!!" The couple said their vows at a courthouse in Paris on Valentine's Day in front of their closest friends and family before later having a big ceremony.

Hayek met Pinault in 2006 and shared in a 2021 interview with the Times of India that she turned down two marriage proposals from him because she was afraid. She admitted feeling embarrassed about how many times he had to ask her.

“I am ashamed to admit how many times he had to ask me. She admitted she had to be “dragged” down the aisle at their courthouse wedding.

Salma Hayek Pinault shared a post on her Instagram account. She talked about her experience with marriage in an interview with Glamour in 2023. She described the day as an "intervention," where her parents and brother were all against her. She admitted to having a fear of the idea of getting married.

She mentioned feeling nervous about her decision. Despite agreeing to the marriage, she found herself unable to go through with it on the actual wedding day.

The couple has a daughter named Valentina, who is now 16 years old. Pinault, a French native and the CEO of the brand Kering, which oversees luxury fashion houses like Gucci and Saint Laurent, enjoys spending his $7 billion fortune on extravagant homes and lavish vacations with his well-known wife and their family.
