Sakamoto Days chapter 146 recap
Osaragi recovering in the latest issue of Sakamoto Days (Image via Yuto Suzuki/Shueisha)
The previous installment of the story showed Osaragi being immobilized by the freezy-freezy bomb, but she managed to thaw herself out. However, she found herself unable to fight back and was frozen with fear. Seeing Natsuki in his invisibility suit, she mistook him for a ghost.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Natsuki swiftly spirited Mafuyu and Shin away from the scene, and with Kaji in tow, they relocated to a different part of the museum. It was revealed that Kashima lacked confidence in the Order's ability to defuse the bomb implanted in Mafuyu. This led to a heartwarming reunion between the two brothers when Kashima reached out to Natsuki.

Natsuki smoothly removed the bomb from Mafuyu's body and scolded Mafuyu for foolishly attempting to join the Order. He suggested that they cut all ties with their family. Despite Mafuyu's concerns about their father coming after them, Natsuki reassured him, reminding him that their father was a mediocre assassin and could be easily dealt with.
At that moment, Kaji noticed that the bomb was still ticking after being removed from the body. In a flashback, it was revealed that Slur had modified it to prevent Kashima from interfering with his plans. Acting quickly, Shin wrapped the bomb in a cloth, froze it with one of Natsuki's freezing bombs, and threw it outside the museum, where it exploded.

Sakamoto Days chapter 147 features a bomb explosion that is sure to draw the attention of the Order's members, possibly leading them to pursue Mafuyu and Natsuki. However, both Mafuyu and Natsuki are not interested in fighting or furthering Slur's mission, making any pursuit likely futile.
In the meantime, readers can anticipate the return of Toramaru, who has been absent from the story for a while and still harbors a bomb. This hints at the possibility of Slur using her to carry out his plan.
