In the previous chapter, Shin encountered Kaji at the Assassin Exhibition of the Century, where Kaji communicated telepathically that the bomb was concealed within Mafuyu. Kashima, who overheard their conversation, supported this claim, adding that the bomb was cunningly hidden in Mafuyu's right foot, making it impossible to detect using standard sensors. Kashima also revealed that she possessed a remote device capable of detonating the bomb. Alternatively, the bomb could be triggered if Mafuyu were to meet an unfortunate demise. It should be noted that the blast radius of the bomb is limited to four meters.
Since the bomb's blast radius was confined to only four meters, Shin concluded that the actual bomb must be concealed in another location within the museum.
Meanwhile, Mafuyu and Toramaru engaged in a fervent argument, wherein Toramaru strongly voiced his inclination to abandon the mission. Conversely, Mafuyu remained resolute in pursuing the mission solo.
When Shin eventually confronted Mafuyu, he unearthed Mafuyu's belief that the most expedient route to join the Order involved eliminating one of its members.
As Shin and Mafuyu's fight continued, JAA Chairman Asaki arrived at the museum, and looked rather displeased with the crowd.
