Sabrina Carpenter slyly mentioned her boyfriend Barry Keoghan during her performance at Coachella.

The 24-year-old singer took the stage at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 19, where she delighted the crowd with her popular songs including “Nonsense.” Towards the end of the song, she improvised a special shout-out that seemed to be a secret message to Keoghan.

"He made me so weak in the knees that I had to spread mine," she sings. "He's sipping my bathwater like it's fine wine / Catch me headlining Coachella again!"

In the movie Saltburn released in 2023, Keoghan, 31, played the role of Oliver Quick. His character, Oliver, had memorable scenes involving bathwater, red wine, and a romantic moment on his knees. Directed by Emerald Fennell, the film follows Oliver's obsession with Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi) after being invited to the Catton family estate in the English countryside.

Oliver's obsessions escalate to extreme levels when he drinks up Felix's bathwater. In another scene, Oliver engages in a controversial act with Felix's sister, Venetia (played by Alison Oliver). Following Felix's death, Venetia deals with her grief by spilling red wine during a family meal.

Carpenter has not confirmed if her character's storyline was inspired by Saltburn, but she has been in a relationship with the movie's lead actor since 2023. The pop star and Keoghan met at a fashion event in Paris that fall and made their relationship official in January.

According to a source who spoke exclusively to We last month, the couple started off their relationship slowly but it's now going strong. They both prefer to keep things casual and enjoy low-key activities in their free time. Sabrina appreciates that Barry understands her busy work schedule and they are not rushing things.

Keoghan has been supporting Carpenter's career while they are dating. He has attended several of her shows on Taylor Swift's international Eras Tour in March.

According to an insider, Carpenter appreciates Keoghan's efforts to be there for her shows. It has also allowed them to spend quality time together during this hectic season. Keoghan is a big fan of Carpenter, and she finds it adorable.

Keoghan also made an appearance at her Coachella debut earlier this month, filming Carpenter’s entire set on his phone.

Carpenter’s Friday performance was not the first time she’s changed up the conclusion to “Nonsense,” as it has been a staple at her concerts.

In August 2023, she told Billboard, "I've made a lot of provocative jokes and talked a big talk. The outros are partly inspired by real life and partly just for fun, the more outrageous, the more fun."
