Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan did not walk the red carpet together at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday, May 6. Despite arriving at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City as a pair, the singer, 24, and the actor, 31, chose to pose separately amidst their growing romance.
Carpenter looked stunning in an Oscar de la Renta gown, featuring a black bodice and a flowing, baby blue train. She paired the gown with platform black heels. Keoghan opted for a brown velvet Burberry suit, complemented by a black top hat. Despite arriving separately, the duo reunited inside the museum as seen in photos from the event.
First linked in December 2023, Carpenter and Keoghan were spotted on a dinner date in Los Angeles. Keeping their romance private, they have been seen together at various events. Keoghan showed his support for Carpenter during her performances at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Singapore and Coachella. The couple also attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party together, although they posed for photos separately.
According to a source who spoke exclusively to We in March, the couple initially took their time getting to know each other, but their relationship is now thriving. Both Sabrina and Barry prefer to keep things relaxed and low-key during their free time. They are not rushing things and Sabrina appreciates Barry's understanding of her busy work schedule.
Keoghan and Carpenter first met at a Paris fashion event in 2023. According to an insider, they gradually began spending more time together and officially became exclusive in January.
