Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy are teaming up once more for an exciting, yet-to-be-named global heist project that has been acquired by Netflix. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Netflix secured the rights to the film, with Dana Fox (known for Disney's Cruella) penning the script. Levy is set to direct the film, as well as produce it under his 21 Laps production company. Joining him are powerhouse producers Reynolds, through his Maximum Effort company, and Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon with their banner, Genre Films.
Details of the project are closely guarded, but it's described as a caper in the style of Ocean's Eleven. There is no set production timeline, so don't expect any announcements soon due to the busy schedules of both Reynolds and Levy. The duo has become a successful creative partnership, starting with their work on Free Guy in 2021, followed by The Adam Project in 2022, and now working on Deadpool 3 for Marvel Studios.

As a fan of Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy's previous collaborations, I am thrilled about their upcoming Netflix heist flick. The duo has proven their ability to create entertaining and successful films, and I have no doubt that this new project will be another hit. Reynolds' comedic timing and Levy's knack for action-packed storytelling make them a perfect match, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us this time.
The fact that the film is described as a caper in the style of Ocean's Eleven only adds to my excitement. I love heist movies, and the idea of Reynolds and Levy putting their own spin on the genre is incredibly appealing. I'm also intrigued by the secrecy surrounding the project. The lack of a set production timeline and the guarded details only serve to pique my curiosity even more. I can't wait to learn more about this exciting new film and see it come to life on Netflix.
