Ryan Reynolds Takes on Epic Action-Adventure Film with DnD Directors

Ryan Reynolds is set to star in the upcoming action-adventure film Mayday, directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and partnered with Apple and Skydance. This marks Reynolds' second collaboration with Apple, following the success of their holiday movie Spirited, and his third collaboration with Skydance, having previously worked on The Adam Project and Michael Bay's Six Underground for Netflix. The movie, which was written by Goldstein and Daley, has already completed its screenplay and will also feature Kenneth Branagh in the cast. Production for Mayday is expected to begin after Reynolds wraps up filming for Deadpool 3 in the UK. Specific details about the plot and characters have yet to be revealed.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger from Skydance will partner with Reynolds' production company, Maximum Effort, to produce the film.
