Ryan Reynolds is all set for his first Taylor Swift Eras Tour show. He will be heading to Madrid with his family to catch Swift's performance later in May. Swift has two shows lined up in the Spanish capital on May 29 and 30, where Paramore will also be performing.
Reynolds, who is 47 years old, shared his upcoming plans during an interview for his new movie, IF, on the show Today With Hoda & Jenna. He was joined by his co-stars John Krasinski and Cailey Fleming.
During the interview, 17-year-old Fleming proudly wore one of Swift’s friendship bracelets and talked about being a fan of Taylor Swift. She mentioned that she would be attending Swift's concert in October, to which Reynolds enthusiastically commented, "Best concert on planet Earth."
Reynolds shared his excitement about attending the Madrid show, mentioning that his wife and kids have already been to five or six of them. He revealed that his four kids and wife Blake Lively, who is close with Swift, absolutely love the concerts and are obsessed with them.
Krasinski talked about how his children, Hazel and Violet, who are 10 and 7 years old respectively, encouraged him and his wife Emily Blunt to get tickets for the Eras Tour. The family has plans to make their pilgrimage to the concert in August.
“My daughters were like, ‘Your movie’s good, but when are we going to Taylor?’” Krasinski quipped.
For Reynolds, his Eras Tour debut has been a long time coming.

He shared, "I've been stuck in a constant cycle of work for the past year and a half, and it's becoming an issue. I sought help, and I am receiving assistance. The term they are using is intervention."
Reynolds and his family have a close relationship with Swift that has lasted for years. They have been seen together in public multiple times, such as at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October 2023. Swift also gave his children a special gift with her 2020 album Folklore.
Reynolds and Lively have four daughters together. Their names are James (9), Inez (7), Betty (4), and their youngest child whose name has not been disclosed yet. James and Inez were mentioned in Taylor Swift's song "Betty" from her album Folklore. Swift used the song to reveal the name of their youngest child.
In an interview with SiriusXM in August 2021, Reynolds shared his thoughts on the experience. He described it as "pretty damn amazing." Even now, he still finds it unbelievable and often shakes his head in disbelief when he walks down the street.
Did Swift reveal the name of Reynolds’ and Lively’s newest addition on The Tortured Poets Department?
Savannah Guthrie asked Reynolds that very question, and the actor responded, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is, and I’ll say this: We’re still waiting.”
