Many Hollywood movies struggle to find a sequel-worthy story, but for soccer club Wrexham, owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the next chapter is unfolding on its own as it proves its promotion potential and continues on its incredible path. Last season's drama seemed impossible to match, with Hollywood celebrities like Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd visiting the Welsh city, the team's return to the Football League after 15 years, and a Disney+ documentary showcasing Wrexham the city, and Wrexham the club.

Wrexham: An intoxicating tale of Hollywood glamor and sporting romance
Wrexham struggled initially in League Two, but as the holiday season nears, they are showing themselves to be strong promotion contenders in second place, just five points behind Stockport County. Their credentials were proven on Saturday with a decisive 6-0 victory over Morecambe, with forward Paul Mullins scoring a hat trick.
Reynolds and McElhenney took to social media to praise the team's performance, describing it as "incredible."
The scoring opened with Joel Seniors' own goal just five minutes into the game, followed by Mullins' first goal less than two minutes later.
Jacob Mendy's incredible individual skill saw him shimmy past the defense and into the center of the box before chipping the ball into the net for a third goal just before halftime.

Mullin scored two more goals, achieving his first hat trick of the season, while James Jones sealed the victory in extra time as Wrexham climbed to second place in League Two. The win signified a comeback for Wrexham after their 11-game unbeaten streak was broken by a loss to Accrington Stanley, currently ranked seventh.
"Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson expressed the pain of losing, stating that regardless of experience, it never becomes easier. However, he highlighted the determination of the team and celebrated their emphatic 6-0 victory as a powerful response."
"We're thrilled with the result as Morecambe poses a threat on the counter-attack. With over half the season left and several teams vying for promotion, Wrexham's season is far from predictable, but it promises to be full of drama."
